Chamberlains online and the Housing Industry Association

Selling a business in ACT

On Thursday Stipe Vuleta, one of our Litigation & Risk Management Practice Leaders at Chamberlains, presented to members at the Housing Industry Association (HIA) offices in Canberra about credit management through our targeted online services. HIA and Chamberlains have partnered to provide HIA members with industry specific professional legal services at discounted prices. The online, fixed price service is the only one of its kind in Australia and is currently operating in the ACT and NSW.

Stipe introduced the members to the Chamberlains.Online database of security of payment and contract dispute service, which are designed to assist members to resolve disputes quickly and efficiently. The database also offers documents designed to assist builders who are in the process of structuring their business, taking on new transactions, and developing eCommerce as their business expands.

The aim of the partnership is to assist HIA members in lowering setup costs, managing their businesses, and effectively managing risk. All documents come backed with legal advice and are generated immediately. This means fast results and better business management for members.

The online database is available for use by HIA workplace advisors for HIA Members at discounted prices. Chamberlains also offers a fixed fee service in acting for builders in simple matters, and a full range of advisory and dispute resolution services.

HIA Members can call the HIA member line on 1300 650 620 to speak with a workplace advisor for more information. Member pricing information can be accessed through the member login gateway on the HIA website.
