About the Position

We are looking for someone who is vibrant and enthusiastic to join our team. The role will include a variety of work, with a primary focus on Estate planning, advice and document preparation, Estate administration, and Estate litigation.

Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be a strong team player and have high organisational skills. You will also have a positive and energetic attitude and have the ability to take control and management of your own matters.

You will report directly to the Directors to deliver exceptional client service, predominantly in the areas of wills and estates and private wealth.

You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced Senior Associates and Directors who will assist you with your career development. The firm aims to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have at least 1 year experience in Australia practicing in the above areas;
  • Have an ability to provide a range of legal services for clients;
  • Hold a current practising certificate;

  • Exhibit strong problem solving and time management skills;
  • Be motivated, dynamic, career-orientated and a team player;
  • Be professionally presented with initiative and superior communication skills; and
  • Have an interest in assisting with the firm’s business development strategies.

Graduate – Wills & Estates

About the Position

This is an entry level position, and no previous experience in these areas is required. Previous experience in a law firm is desirable but not essential.

Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be a strong team player and have high organisational skills. You will also have a positive and energetic attitude and have a keen interest in these areas of law.

You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced Senior Associates and Directors who will assist you with your career development. The firm aims to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.

The role will be primarily focussed on assisting senior lawyers with drafting wills and estate documents and providing assistance with other commercial matters.

 

Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:

  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Conducting research
  • Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients
  • Attending client appointments with your supervising solicitor
  • Assisting with drafting marketing articles
  • Filing and other administrative work
  • Working closely with Senior Lawyers & Directors

 

Job Type: Full-time
